I take it that means they said fuck all about it on this "too good too bad" thing.

Not necessarily a dive if no foul. The ref could say he lost his balance from coming together but no foul.

He was reluctant to do anything against them all afternoon including the foul throw which was simply a ridiculous situation.
Fair few tackles that could or should have been yellows.
Where was a booking for Morata diving in the box? If it's not a foul then it's a dive.
The penalty.
Another thing that wound me up is how often have we see,n when losing at home, opposing players timewaste again and again without punishment? Yesterday two of ours got booked for doing nothing more than opposing players have been all season with impunity from officials.

It’s either a foul throw or not
The referee didn’t penalise it as a foul throw so the ball was in play.
Pedro then chased the ball and deliberately handled it to stop our player playing the ball.
To be honest that sort of cynicism should really be a red

Taylor got that completely wrong, but that's ok because he favoured a top 4 side.

The referee doesn’t have to take into account any 'sort of slip'
The facts are the laws of the game. He propelled the ball forwards, without making a legal throw in.

So, actually I think he got almost everything right though he should have given them a penalty in the first half.
The thing that was wrong which makes him a cowardly cunt is as I said before, he booked our players for fouls in the second half for fouls almost identical to those they committed in the first half which they got away with. And there were some ridiculously blatant dives they should have got booked for too.
That's not about judging a foul, that's easy to deal with as a referee, you make consistent decisions throughout a match, He didn't do that because he's a coward and won't card players for Chelsea the same way he cards our players.

And I know I'm in a minority but I don't think the penalty shout was a penalty - it undoubtedly 100% hit his hand. The question is whether it was intentional. The referee has to decide that without a replay. Even with a replay I'm not sure it was on purpose.
According to the rules, it has to be deliberate, otherwise it cannot be a penalty no matter how important it was in diverting the ball away from our player.

Without seeing the replay, if the ref thinks he sort of slipped before taking the throw and didn't complete the throw in motion before releasing it from his hands then he'd be right to order a retake.

Its a foul throw and then deliberate handball.
Yellow card and our free kick
That doesn't make sense Sven. If it's a foul throw then the ball is not considered in play and so we should have got the throw in.
If it's not a foul throw then it's hand ball and our free kick (not automatically a yellow card).
It can't be a foul throw AND hand ball.

It will probably be shown on MOTD2 in their 2Good 2Bad section.
The ball slipped out of the player's hands and the ref, rightly or wrongly, let him have another go - no real biggie.
More importantly, why was Lanzini's dad running the line ?

This is a silly argument, but I can't resist joining in.
happygilmore, I too think starting a new thread for every single foul and infringment would be ridiculous, but this thread is about something quite remarkable as far as referee cock ups go. It's not just a foot being lifted or a few yards being stolen on a throw in.
Have you ever seen anything like this madness?
I haven't, so for me, it's worthy of a thread, as it was a unique level of ineptitude and it was in a West Ham match.

Arthur took 4 paces forward before throwing the ball in. Taking the throw- in from the right spot is a basic rule.
